Justin is a dedicated professional who spent years working for both a renowned luxury home builder, as well as a reputable commercial contractor, honing his skills and knowledge of the industry. However, his true ambition lies in establishing his own home building business, one that is built on the principles of honesty, transparency, quality, and client satisfaction.

The first step was to completely gut the house and replace every major system—plumbing, electrical, and HVAC—down to the street. With no attic space to work with, the HVAC system required a custom re-engineered solution, while all outdated cast-iron pipes, electrical wire and conduit were removed and replaced with modern plumbing, copper wire & new conduit. A backup generator was added, as well, to ensure peace of mind, making the home as reliable as it is beautiful.
Board-formed concrete stem walls shape the driveway and add architectural depth to the home. A new concrete pool deck around the original pool and integrated concrete pavers throughout the exterior tie the spaces together seamlessly. The highlight of the hardscape design is the one-of-a-kind fountain that proudly sits front and center.
Items saved from the original structure include the D’hanis terracotta tile in the kitchen and living room, the yellow glass partition separating the dining room from the entry way, the posts and beams framing the elevated center living space , the exterior limestone rock and the front door.
The living room was restored to its original glory with new Douglas fir trim and finishes to seamlessly blend with the existing beams and posts, including the tongue & groove ceiling, wall paneling, light box and baseboards. The custom red oak built-in entertainment center looks like it was there all along.
Modern upgrades in the home include trimless interior doors and HVAC vents, custom metalwork trim details, an invisible cooktop, Sonos sound system inside and outside, and integrated landscape lighting. Also high-efficiency windows and doors enhance performance and white oak flooring complete the updated interior.
The homeowner kept the original footprint of the home so there were no additions to the living space. However, the carport was an addition designed to complement the original architecture.

Sage Ranch is the story of a home—and a homeowner—beginning a new chapter. Originally built in the 1990 and never remodeled, the house had good bones but was long overdue for a complete transformation.
Most of the home was taken down to the studs to make slight changes to the layout for a cleaner form and function for the new homeowner’s lifestyle.
Hexagonal Saltillo tile replaced the square Saltillo and is now carried throughout the downstairs living spaces.
New custom cabinetry and built-ins simplified the design of kitchen, living room and laundry room.
Updated appliances highlight the spacious, cook-friendly kitchen designed for daily use and entertaining.
The original oak doors and interior trim were sanded, stained and reinstalled, so the best parts of the original home are still visible in every room.
Another standout feature of this home is the new master suite, which includes a generous walk-in closet and a spa-like bathroom with a freestanding tub, walk-in shower, and carefully selected finishes that blend rustic warmth with modern comfort.
Square footage was added by converting a large unused attic into a dedicated space for the homeowner’s kids—complete with a bedroom, bathroom, bunk room, climbing wall, and a private cedar deck and staircase for the separate exterior entry.
